Week 2 Day One

Well, here I am at the beginning of the second week.

The first week, I feel, was successful. I was able to exercise almost every day and I feel like I made good food choices. Although I had some confusion after our nutrition class (due to me, not our fabu dietician), I think I have figured it out now. It's just a new way of thinking, it's even different than what I thought was "healthy". I realize now that it's about long term changes and long term sustainability. I realize now that I might not drop as much weight as I had planned on because I am actually eating a lot of food, but it's an amount of food that I could continue to eat througout the rest of my life, rather than a "diet". That being said, I did lose weight last week :).

So, for week 2, here's the plan:

Nutrition:
My meals are planned, the groceries are bought, the hard part is done. I stocked up on some new plastic containers so that it's easier to bring things to work such as yogurt, cottage cheese, blueberries, etc.

Exercise:
I plan to work out every day except Saturday this week. I already did Sunday, I went walking/jogging/walking with my neighbor this am at 5, and am planning on working out with some other neighbors this afternoon. The rest of the week, I'll probably be at the Wellness Center, but definitely on Thursday with I get to work with my trainer Heidi - yay!
